Vancouver Island Social Justice Society is a Nanaimo based registered non-profit that was incorporated in 2024. Our organization is made up of passionate community members who wish to volunteer their time and give back to their communities. We work together to make small but mighty changes toward structural and lasting peace.

We are dedicated to fostering a world where love, community, dignity, and support are at the heart of everything we do. We serve marginalized, vulnerable, and diverse communities, with a deep commitment to uplifting every individual regardless of their unique identities or challenges. Grounded in the principles of intersectionality, we recognize and honor the complexities of lived experiences. Through accessible, inclusive, and trauma-informed approaches, we provide direct, compassionate, and individualized care that meets people where they are. Our mission is to build a space where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered.
